A set of discharge precast blocks were installed in a Metso preheater lime kiln in December of 2015 by Wahl Refractory Solutions. The blocks are made with Wahl’s premium WalFlow®KLN 60 material, engineered to withstand the highly alkali and abrasive environments. Upon inspection of the blocks after one year in service, very minimal wear is apparent in comparison to the installation photo.
