Wahl Refractory Solutions recently inspected one of its new GemStone®G3 Tertiary Air Dampers in a cement plant in Central United States. Wahl’s GemStone®G3 Dampers have more than doubled the service life of previous Dampers from two competitors without any incident, and will be left in service to complete their campaign.
Wahl’s GemStone®G3 Damper design was developed as an upgrade to the previous G2 Dampers that performed well in many cement kilns around the world over the past decade. GemStone®G3 was developed to increase abrasion resistance and physical properties at elevated temperatures and to extend Damper service life in more difficult conditions and in the newest high capacity cement kilns.
